Product Crush: Rose Gold Elixir

Posted by LO on November 16, 2017

I love this time of year. The air is so crisp and cool. Sunny days give everything a beautiful golden hue and still feels warm on your skin. Warmth and comfort just radiate out of everyone and everything as we all anxiously anticipate the best holiday of the year (fight me on it), Thanksgiving.

However, as the temperature drops, I have noticed my skin getting drier by the day. Frustrating as I’ve recently started to pay more attention to my skin in attempts to keep it healthy and glowing. It feels like just when I figure out my skincare routine, I forget to account for environmental and seasonal changes.

I know the temperature is just going to continue to drop, the air will get drier, and if I don’t do something about it now, my skin will just get more aggravated and dry. No thanks.

As much as I’d love to be the type of person who doesn’t care about cost and could justify dropping a cool hundred on a facial serum, I’m not. I will pay for quality, but I was pretty sure I could find a moisturizing, nourishing facial oil/serum that would keep my skin looking beautiful and dewy throughout the winter, without putting a hole in my wallet.

Guess what, guys, I found one. And not only that, it’s currently available for sale here. It’s become a staple in my daily routine and it’s a fraction of the price of similar products.

Naked Heres B2uty Rose Gold Elixir

You have probably noticed that the packaging looks a bit familiar. The bottle is the same bright white and gold. It’s even got some of the same language on the box.

This is definitely a dupe. And if you compare the ingredients, you’ll notice that it is not just any dupe, it’s almost an exact dupe. It’s the dupiest of dupes, if you will.

Now, I’ve never used the original, it’s out of my price range. Obviously, I cannot compare the two. I will say that after using this serum for the last few months, my skin is definitely more smooth and soft and luminous. It’s especially great for post waxing and exfoliating. It’s also great for mixing into foundation or concealer for dry spots. Instant hydration even with super matte foundations. Dream come true.

Full disclosure, it’s not perfect. I think it can feel a little sticky while it’s absorbing and it doesn’t absorb as fast as I would like. Although, I tend to feel that way about serums in general. The stickiness makes it hard to not touch my face (but that’s really a personal problem, isn’t it?). It’s less sticky feeling when mixed with my regular moisturizer. I also use it on my neck and chest with fabulous results.

I’m still looking for a couple of testers. Send me a direct message on Instagram if you’re interested in testing the Rose Gold Elixir for free in exchange for your honest review.
